Distribution:	Canada: NS to BC; USA: ME south to southern FL west to MN and TX in wooded areas with a disjunct population in western SD. - Miller et al. (2021)

Synonymy:	leptinoides (Grote, 1864) (Heterocampa) - MONA 1983: 8011 Type locality: "Middles States". mustelina (Packard, 1864) (Cecrita) Type locality: Cambridge, MA.
Taxonomic Notes:	Oedemasia leptinoides (Grote, 1864), n. comb. in Becker (2014), was formerly placed in the genus Schizura.
