Distribution: Caution: A single range map dot for a Canadian province may represent records without specific location data.
Canada: NS to western ON; USA: ME south to FL and west to IL and eastern TX and a western population in CO, UT and AZ (possibly contiguous "through northern Rockies or across the Great Plains"). - Miller et al. (2021)
Type locality (concinna): Georgia.
Type locality (nitida): Janesville, MD.
Similar Species:
  • Oedemasia salicis (Edwards, 1877) is separated by range with potential overlap in the Pacific Northwest.

Synonymy: Phalaena concinna Smith, 1797
Oedemasia nitida Packard, 1864
Taxonomic Notes: Oedemasia concinna (Smith, 1797), n. comb. in Becker (2014), was formerly placed in the genus Schizura.
