Distribution: Canada: NS to MB; USA: ME west to NE and south to FL and LA - Miller et al. (2021) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: apicalis Grote & Robinson, 1866 (Coelodasys) - MONA 1983: 8009 TL: "Eastern States". Taxonomic Notes: Coelodasys apicalis Grote & Robinson, 1866, n. comb. in Miller et al. (2021), was formerly in the genus Schizura.
