Type locality: Vista Alegre, Santiago de Cuba, Cuba.
Similar Species:

Synonymy: Disphragis zayasi Torre & Alayo, 1959
Taxonomic Notes: Macrurocampa zayasi (Torre & Alayo, 1959), n. comb. in Miller et al. (2021), was formerly in the genus Heterocampa.
