Distribution: Southern Texas - Miller et al. (2021) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: benitensis Blanchard 1971 (Heterocampa) - MONA 1983: 7987; Type locality: Holotype: Brownsville, TX Taxonomic Notes: Rifargia benitensis (Blanchard, 1971), n. comb. in Becker (2014), was formerly in the genus Heterocampa.
