Synonymy: occidentalis (Lintner, 1878) (Cerura) - MONA 1983: 7939 Taxonomic Notes: Furcula occidentalis (Lintner, 1878), formerly treated as a subspecies of 7939.1 Furcula furcula (Clerk, 1759), is returned to full species status, MONA Fascicle 22.1A: 125.
