Distribution: Alberta south through Montana and Colorado. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: wileyi (Dyar, 1922) (Cerura)   Type locality: Miles City, M. Taxonomic Notes: Furcula wileyi (Dyrar, 1922), described as a subspecies of 7937 Furcula cinerea (Walker, 1865), is elevated to full species status, MONA Fascicle 22.1A: 114.
