Distribution: Across Canada and northern US south to New Mexico and Arizona.
Similar Species:
  • 7900.1 Clostera multnoma replaces C. brucei in British Colubia to souther California and northwestern Colorado.

Synonymy:
  • brucei (Edwards, 1885) (Ichthyura) - MONA 1983: 7900
      Type locality: Colorado.
