Protambulyx carteri Rothschild & Jordan, 1903, formerly treated as a synonym of 7818 Protambulyx strigilis (Linnaeus, 1771) in Tuttle (2007), was implicitly reinstated as a species by Heppner, 2008, Lepid. Novae 1: 90 and then subsequently treated as a full species in Eitschberger (2016) and Kitching et al. (2018). |
