Distribution: Southcentral Texas. Similar Species: 7813 Sphinx dollii is found west of Texas. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: vanbuskirki Haxaire, 2020 (Sphinx)   Type locality: Holotype: NW Bexar Co., TX. Taxonomic Notes: Sphinx vanbuskirki Haxaire, 2020, n. sp., European Entomologist, 12(1): 21-36.
