Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: fuscosa Ferguson, 1971 (Anisota) Taxonomic Notes: Anisota fuscosa Ferguson, 1971 was described as a subspecies of 7716 Anisota stigma. Burke & Peigler (2009) treat fuscosa as a full species based on larval morphology. DNA evidence appears to support those findings.
