Synonymy: Anisota fuscosa Ferguson, 1971
Taxonomic Notes: Anisota fuscosa Ferguson, 1971 was described as a subspecies of 7716 Anisota stigma. Burke & Peigler (2009) treat fuscosa as a full species based on larval morphology. DNA evidence appears to support those findings.
  • Barcode of Life (BOLD) - Caution: DNA barcode provides evidence of relatedness, not proof of identification, and some BOLD specimens shown may not be sequenced.
