Distribution: OK, OH, FL (Davis & Deschka 2001). Larva and Host Plants: Salix caroliniana, S. nigra. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: mildredae Davis & Deschka, 2001 (Phyllonorycter)   Type locality: Holotype: 7 mi E. of Naples, Collier Co., FL.
