Synonymy:
  • tamaulipasiana Brechlin & Meister, 2014 (Syssphinx)
      Type locality: Mexico, Tamaulipas, Buenavista.
  • Taxonomic Notes: Syssphinx tamaulipasiana Brechlin & Meister, 2014, n. sp., Entomo-Satsphingia, 7(3):12, is now recognized within the North American fauna with records from southern Texas.
