Genitalia: See Plate 165, 166 & 167 for images of both spread adult and genitalia in Ferris (2018).
Similar Species:

Synonymy: Gymnoscelis mellisa Grossbeck, 1908
Taxonomic Notes: Eupithecia mellisa (Grossbeck, 1908), n. comb., was formerly in the genus Prorella (Schmidt & McGuinness in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) 2023).
