Distribution: Holotype: Carr Canyon, Huachuca Mountains, Cochise Co., AZ.
Genitalia: See Plate 157 for images of both spread adult and genitalia in Ferris (2018).
Similar Species:

Synonymy: Gymnoscelis discoidalis Grossbeck, 1908
Taxonomic Notes: Eupithecia discoidalis (Grossbeck, 1908), n. comb., was formerly in the genus Prorella (Schmidt & McGuinness in Pohl & Nanz 2023).
