Distribution: Caution: A single range map dot for a Canadian province may represent records without specific location data. Canada: SK, AB; USA:NM - BOLD (NM record appears to be confirmed by DNA). Type locality: Colorado. Description/ Field Marks: Wingspan: 19-24 mm. Genitalia: See Plate 106 for images of both spread adult and genitalia in Ferris (2018). Similar Species: 7565 Eupithecia bowmani, WS = 19-16 mm, is smaller with st. line tending to be less obviously scalloped. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: • Tephroclystis stellata Hulst, 1896
