Type locality: Waco, TX.

Taxonomic Notes: Eupithecia interruptofasciata Packard, 1873, formerly treated as the subspecies of Eupithecia pusillata found in North American, is raised to full species status in Bolte (1990), Mem. Entomol. Soc. Can., 122(S151):67.
