Distribution: Pacific Coast region from central Oregon to southern British Columbia. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: elmaella Doganlar & Mutuura, 1980 (Phyllonorycter)   Type locality: Burnaby, BC. sorbi of authors; (not Frey, 1855) (Lithocolletis) misappl.
