Description/

Similar Species:

Synonymy:

  • ssp. a. hastulata (Hübner, 1792) (Phalaena)
  • luctuata (Hübner, [1799]) (Geometra)
  • ssp. b. echigoensis Inoue, 1982 (Epirrhoe)
      Type locality: Japan.
      Note: Synonym of ssp. reducta?
  • ssp. c. reducta (Djakonov, 1929) (Cidaria)
      Type locality: Kamchatka.
  • Taxonomic Notes: Epirrhoe hastulata (Hübner, 1792) is now tentatively recognized within the North American fauna; one specimen collected by Jason Grant from Alaska and DNA barcoded which seems to match E. h. reducta (TL: Kamchatka).
