Distribution: USA: Alaska. Similar Species: Epirrhoe alternata (Müller, 1764). Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: supergressa (Butler, 1878) (Melanippe) Taxonomic Notes: Epirrhoe supergressa (Butler, 1878) is provisionally recognized within the North American fauna based on a DNA barcoded specimen collected in Salcha, AK by Jason Grant; morphology-based ID is still pending.
