Seasonality
and Size:
Two annual broods, adults fly mid-July to late November. Overwintering adults may be seen outside the normal flight period. FWL 3.4-4.8 mm.
Taxonomic Notes: Phyllonorycter atomariella (Zelled, 1875) is replaced by Phyllonorycter apparella (Herrich-Schäffer, 1855). Includes as synonymns P. ontario (Freeman) [0779] and P. tremuloidiella (Braun) [0798].
