Genitalia: See Barnes & McDunnough (1917). Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: nevadae Barnes & McDunnough, 1917 (Hydriomena) - MONA 1983: 7245   Type locality: "Verdi, Nevada". Taxonomic Notes: Hydriomena nevadae Barnes & McDunnough, 1917, described as a race of Hydriomena ruberata (Freyer, [1831]), is treated as a full species in McDunnough (1944:210).
