Distribution: USA: TX, Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: lantanella Busck, 1900 (Cremastobombycia)   Type locality: Hawaii (introduced from Mexico). Taxonomic Notes: Cremastobombycia lantanella (Busck, 1900), first described as a Mexican species that had been introduced into Hawaii, was reported from TX by Palmer & Pullen (1995), Biological Control, 5(1):66.
