  • S. s. berkeleyata: Eastern side of the Outer Coast Ranges and the adjacent areas of CA, extending from Napa Co. south to the Transverse Range in southern Kern Co. extending west in Ventura and Santa Barbara Co. to the ocean - Rindge (1978).
  • S. s. lagunata: Mts. of southern CA - Rindge (1978).
