Distribution: Nova Scotia to southern Alberta, south to northern Florida and eastern Texas.
Seasonality
and Size:
Two generations from New York southward. FWL ~ 17-25 mm.
Larva and
Host Plants:
Host plants include Alnus, Castanea and Salix.
Genitalia: See Ferris & Schmidt (2010).

  • Taxonomic Notes: Tetracis crocallata Guenée, [1858], n. comb. in Ferris & Schmidt (2010), was formerly in the genus Synaxis.
