Distribution: Southeast Arizona - West Texas. Seasonality and Size: June - October. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: triangulata Barnes & McDunnough 1916 (Sabulodes) - MONA 1983: 6957 Taxonomic Notes: Caripeta triangulata: Formerly assigned to Synaxis, determined to be a Caripeta on the basis of genitalic characters. C. D. Ferris, 2009. J. Lepid. Soc. 63(3): 164-165. Synaxis triangulata Moved to Caripeta.
