Synonymy: graefii (Hulst, 1896) (Acanthophora) graefi Ferguson, 1983 (Acanthotoca) emend. Taxonomic Notes: Acanthotoca graefii (Hulst, 1896) corrects spelling of graefi in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist).
