Host Plants: Shropshire & Tallamy (2025) [accessed 6xii2025]: Host familiy: Sapindaceae.  Host genera: Acer.  Notes: only Acer (Ferguson 2008); Juglans [for Semiothisa aspirata Pearsall] (McFarland 1965). Similar  : Species 91a0754 Macaria promiscuata: is larger and tends to be more boldly marked with more falcate wing tips and redder pm. band on underside of wings.
