Taxonomic Notes: |
Macaria deceptrix (Dyar, 1913), formerly placed in the genus Speranza in Ferguson (2008), MONA Fascicle 17.2: 148, is returned to the genus Macaria in Sihvonen & Skou (2015) following Scoble & Krüger (2002). Previously listed as Itame sobriaria in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist), this species includes as a new synonym sobriaria Barnes & McDunnough, 1917 (previously a subspecies of graphidaria (Hulst, 1887)) in Ferguson (2008). |
