Synonymy: schatzeata Cassino 1927 (Itame) - MONA 1983: 6310 dimidiata Cassino 1927 (Itame) minata Cassino 1928 (Itame) Taxonomic Notes: Macaria schatzeata (Cassino, 1927), formerly placed in the genus Itame in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist) and in the genus Speranza in Ferguson (2008), is returned to genus Macaria in Sihvonen & Skou (2015) following Scoble & Krüger (2002). This species includes as a synonym 6313 Speranza minata (Cassino, 1928) in Ferguson (2008).
