Synonymy: Halia subcessaria Walker, 1861
Thera perarcuata Walker, 1862
Taxonomic Notes: Macaria subcessaria (Walker, 1861), formerly placed in the genus Itame in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist) and in the genus Speranza in Ferguson (2008), is returned to genus Macaria in Sihvonen & Skou (2015) following Scoble & Krüger (2002).
