      Type locality: S. Cal., Baja.
  • Taxonomic Notes: Macaria austrinata (Ferguson, 2008) n. sp., MONA Fascicle 17.2, p. 54. This species was described in the genus Speranza which is treated as a synonym of Macaria in Sihvonen & Skou (2015) following Scoble & Krüger (2002).
