Synonymy: • Abraxas ribearia Fitch, 1848 • Ellopia aniusaria Walker, 1863 • Endropia annisaria Walker, 1860 • Thamnonoma fascioferaria Hulst, 1887 • Aspilates sigmaria Guenée, [1858] Taxonomic Notes: Macaria ribearia (Fitch, 1848), formerly placed in the genus Itame in the 1983 Hodges Checklist and in the genus Speranza in Ferguson (2008), is returned to genus Macaria in Sihvonen & Skou (2015) following Scoble & Krüger (2002).
