| Similar Species: |
- 850016 Ceranemota albertae: is treated as a junior synonym of tearlei in Pacific Northwest Moths. While Clarke (1938) separates the two based on genitalia, intermediate characters were found by Jim Vargo (pers. comm., 12/23/2021). As of 1/1/2022, DNA barcode does not appear to clearly separate the two species.
