Distribution: USA: Arizona. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: superba Barnes, 1901 (Thyatira) REV. STAT.   Type locality: Huachuca Mts., AZ. mexicana of authors; not Edwards, 1884 (Thyatira) misappl. Taxonomic Notes: Thyatira superba Barnes, 1901, rev. stat. (Schmidt in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) 2023), was formerly treated as a synonym of Thyatira mexicana Edwards, 1884, a species extralimital north of Mexico.
