Distribution: Type locality (approximella): "North America". Lectotype (cremoricosta): Colorado Springs, CO. Type locality (haematica): New York and Massachusetts. Type locality (roseatella): Massachusetts. Genitalia: See Shaffer (1968) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
