Similar Species: Rumatha bihinda (Dyar, 1922) forewing with black scales within pale coastal streak, not reddish as in jacumba, and male labial palpi 1-1/2 times the length of the head, vs. equal for jacumba. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: jacumba Neunzig, 1997 (Rumatha); Holotype: Jacumba Mts., Imperial Co., CA. Taxonomic Notes: Rumatha jacumba Neunzig, 1997 n. sp., MONA Fascicle. 15.4.
