Synonymy: • Sarata dnopherella Ragonot, 1887 Taxonomic Notes: Sarata dophnerella Ragonot, 1887 corrects spelling of dnopherella Ragonot, 1893, an unjustified emendation though the original name is likely a misspelling. The Greek "dnoferós" = “dark, murky” .
