Synonymy: trabalis Grote, 1881 (Toripalpus) - MONA 1983: 5585 adulatalis Hulst, 1887 (Toripalpus) Taxonomic Notes: Toripalpus trabalis Grote, 1881 was listed in the genus Jocara in the Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist). The genus Toripalpus, previously a synonym of, was resurrected in Solis (1993).
