Synonymy: Herculia phoezalis Dyar, 1908
Taxonomic Notes: Hypsopygia phoezalis (Dyar, 1908) was formerly in the genus Pseudasopia and assigned to the genus Herculia in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist). This species was transferred to the genus Hypsopygia in Scholtens & Solis (2015) following Leraut (2006).
