Distribution: Holotype: Baboquivaria Mountains, Pima Co., AZ. Description/ Field Marks: Male has serrate antennae heavily ciliated and without pectination. The teeth are sub-quadrate and are up to 1-1/2 times thickness of the stalk. See original description and illustration in Kearfott (1908). Similar Species: Thaumatopsis repandus (Grote, 1880) Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
