Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Poaceae Detritophagous.  Host genera: Agrostis Zea Detritophagous[plant].  Notes: Detritophagous on cereals (Zhang 1994); grasses & cereal grains (Beadle & Leckie 2012); collected larva from root area (Rogers 2014).  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species.
