Distribution: USA: GA, LA (Solis 2010). Description/ Field Marks: Forewing light yellow and FWL > 14mm. Similar Species: Herpetogramma theseusalis forewing typically browner; FWL < 15mm. Patania silicalis. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: centrostrigalis (Stephens, 1834) (Margaritia) - MONA 1983: 5278; TL: England, Devonshire, Devon. (Probably mislabeled and not a Palearctic species (Solis 2010)).
