Distribution: FL but apparently spreading north to SC and west to TX. Type locality: Borneo Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: • Botys charesalis Walker, 1859 • Sylepta [sic] argillitis Turner, 1937 • Psara delhommealis Legrand, 1966 • Botys molusalis Walker, 1859 • Lampridia? vetustalis Strand, 1918 Taxonomic Notes: Nacoleia charesalis (Walker, 1859) is now recognized within the North American fauna north of Mexico (Florida), News Lepid. Soc. 57(1): 8-10.
