Taxonomic: Notes Anania fuscalis (Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775) is now recognized within the North American fauna, several specimens collected by Jim Vargo from Laporte Co., IN, 2025. GlobIZ lists several synonyms and subspecies; the specimens appears to refer to the nominate subspecies.

  • deceptalis (La Harpe, 1864) (Botys)
