Description/
Field Marks:
Sexually dimorphic. Females have a dark triangular patch on the outer pm. line at the inner margin.
Similar Species:
  • Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
Synonymy:
  • dischematalis Munroe, 1995 (Evergestis)
      Type locality: Holotype: Greer, White Mountains, Apache Co., AZ, 8,500 ft.
  • dimorphalis Munroe, [1974] 1973 (Evergestis) preocc.
  • Taxonomic Notes: Evergestis dischematalis (Munroe, 1995:53) replaces E. dimorphalis Munroe, 1974, a name preoccupied by dimorphalis Osthelder, 1938.
