Taxonomic Notes: Oeneis bore (Schneider, 1792) includes as subspecies O. b. taygete, gaspeensis, hanburyi, mckinleyensis, fordi, and edwardsi in Pelham (2008). This species was formerly listed as Oeneis bore (Esper, 1789) following Heppner (1981), an error corrected in Lamas (2013).
