Taxonomic Notes: |
Elatobia fuliginosella (Lienig & Zeller, 1846) includes as a synonym Elatobia carbonella (Dietz, 1905) in Gaedike (2019), Microlepidoptera of Europe, 9. "NA records probably refer to a distinct species, to which the name carbonella may apply. We retain the listing as E. fuliginosella pending taxonomic work. The name martinella (now a valid species in the Yponomeutidae genus Kessleria) has also been applied historically in NA." Greg Pohl (pers. comm., 2021) |
