Distribution: Type locality (lumina): not specified, likely southern parts of SouthAmerica (Zhang et al. 2022).
Type locality (trebius): Colombia: Bogota.

Taxonomic Notes: Cymaenes isus (Godman, [1900]), formerly treated as subspecies of odilia (Burmeister, 1878) with isus as a synonym in Hodges et al. (Checklist), is treated as full species in Zhang et al. (2022) with trebius (Mabille, 1891), another name confused with isus, treated as synonym of lumina (Herrich Schäffer, 1869), a South American species not recorded from North America.
